Raymond Janssen conducts Opera Gala 2018 in Concertgebouw Amsterdam
International Symphony Orchestra LVIV
The New Romanian Symphonic Choir
Conductor: Raymond Janssen
Opera Gala 2018
On the 8th and the 11th of November 2018, Raymond Janssen will conduct an opera gala at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam with INSO Lviv and The New Romanian Symphonic Choir from Timisoara.
Soloists: Alina Todea soprano and Roman Trochymuk tenor.
For the opera gala of the 8th and 11th of November 2018, Raymond will work again with the New Romanian Symphonic Choir and The International Symphony Orchestra from Lviv.
Although both countries are historically and culturally divided, the members of the International Symphony Orchestra from Lviv will understand the Romanian choir from the first note, because music is the ‘second’ mother tongue of all musicians.
The opera Gala 2018 is an intelligent sequence of several opera highlights. The orchestra will play a famous opening Ouverture and then the soloists will sing well-known arias from operas such as Tosca, Turandot and La Traviata … But this opera gala distinguishes itself, because the New Romanian Symphony Choir will continuously be part of the concert. With more than one hundred forty musicians permanently on stage.
